This policy outlines what constitutes Unboxed Products, their origin, condition, warranty coverage, grading standards, and the benefits of purchasing such products through Zapbox.in.

This policy is intended to provide clarity to customers while also safeguarding Zapbox.in against any misunderstanding or liability beyond what is expressly stated herein. By purchasing an Unboxed Product from our website, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Definition of Unboxed Products

Unboxed Products are original branded items that have had their outer box seal opened but remain in like-new or mint condition. These products may show minor signs of usage, generally because they have been handled, tested, or returned by a previous buyer within the standard return window of an e-commerce platform.

  • Typical usage duration is between 7–30 days, depending on the grade assigned to the product.

  • The internal manufacturer’s seal of the product remains intact, ensuring that the device itself has not been tampered with or repaired.

  • Since these products spend some time in transit, storage, or restocking, the brand warranty period may be less than the standard full term (usually 6–12 months instead of a full year or more).

2. Source of Unboxed Products

Our Unboxed inventory is primarily sourced through brand-authorised retailers and e-commerce returns. These returns typically occur for reasons unrelated to product functionality, such as:

  • Change of mind by customer

  • Price drop after purchase

  • Incompatibility with user’s intended use

  • Wrong color / size / pack / specifications
  • No longer required by the buyer


We do not source Unboxed Products from unverified third parties or grey markets. This ensures authenticity, warranty coverage, and compliance with brand-authorised policies.

3. Difference Between Unboxed & Refurbished Products

To avoid confusion:

  • Unboxed Products → Like-new condition, minimal use (7–30 days), never repaired, internal seals intact, covered by brand warranty.

  • Refurbished Products → Previously used for extended periods (often 1–2 years), repaired/restored, often not covered under brand warranty, only under seller warranty.

4. Condition & Quality Assurance

Every Unboxed Product undergoes our 8-Step Quality Check to verify:

  • Functionality and performance.

  • Physical condition.

  • Authenticity of brand and serial numbers.

Product Grading System

Each product is assigned a grade label that will be displayed on the respective product page:

  • 🥇 Grade A (Mint Condition) → All original box and essential accessories present. 0–3 minor signs of usage.

  • 🥈 Grade B (Like-New) → Like-new condition with 0–5 minor signs of usage.

  • 🥉 Grade C (Like-New with Usage Signs) → 0–5 major visible signs of usage.

  • Grade D (Used) → Major signs of usage (5+ major usage marks).

⚠️ Please Note: While Zapbox strives for accuracy in grading, minor subjective variations in condition may occur due to the inherent nature of Unboxed Products.

In rare cases where an original essential accessory is missing (e.g., charging cable, dock), a compatible replacement will be provided. Non-essential items (e.g., extra ear tips, stylus nibs) may not be replaced.

5. Warranty Coverage

  • All Unboxed Products sold on Zapbox.in come with 6–12 months of brand warranty (the exact period depends on the product and is clearly mentioned on each product page).

  • Warranty claims must be made directly with the respective brand-authorised service centers, following their policies.

  • Zapbox.in will assist customers with warranty claim guidance but does not provide service/repair directly.

6. Authenticity & Buyer Protection

Zapbox.in guarantees that all products sold are 100% authentic.

  • If a product is proven unauthentic, Zapbox.in will refund 2× the purchase price (double refund policy).

  • If a customer finds the same Unboxed Product (same grade, brand warranty, and condition) at a lower price on any other online platform, Zapbox.in will refund 2× the price difference.

7. Customer Acknowledgement

By purchasing from Zapbox.in, the customer acknowledges and accepts that:

  1. Unboxed Products are not brand-new sealed units, and some minor cosmetic imperfections may exist.

  2. Warranty periods are shorter due to factors beyond Zapbox.in’s control (e.g., storage and transit).

  3. Product grading is conducted fairly but may have reasonable subjective differences.

  4. Warranty and after-sales service are governed by the respective brand’s service policies, not by Zapbox.in.

8. Limitation of Liability

Zapbox.in shall not be held liable for:

  • Rejection of warranty claims by the brand if caused by customer misuse, damage, or alteration.

  • Minor cosmetic differences in condition grading that do not affect functionality.

  • Any delays or shortcomings in service/warranty support provided by the brand’s authorised centers.

Zapbox.in’s liability in all cases is limited strictly to the purchase price of the product, except where expressly stated otherwise under our double refund authenticity guarantee.
