Our Story – Why We Started Zapbox


We are three friends-turned-partners from very different industries — apparel, lifestyle, banking, and logistics. For years, we were part of the corporate grind, chasing numbers, building brands, and moving goods across the country. Life was comfortable, but something was missing.


The idea for Zapbox didn’t come to us in a boardroom — it started with a simple, frustrating experience that we’re sure you can relate to.


One of us had just ordered the latest pair of headphones online. The delivery arrived quickly, but the excitement was short-lived. The product was returned because of a minor packaging dent, even though it was perfectly new and working. Curious, we asked the delivery guy, “What happens to these products?” His answer surprised us — “Most of them are sent back, stacked in warehouses, or liquidated at throwaway prices.”


That incident sparked a thought: Why should perfectly good, genuine products go to waste when shoppers like us are always looking for value?


From there, the pieces fell into place. With our combined backgrounds in banking (trust & finance), logistics (supply chain), apparel & lifestyle (consumer trends), we realized we could solve this gap: make premium gadgets more accessible, affordable, and sustainable.


And that’s how Zapbox was born.
